We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our mental health practice as a Medical Biller and Credentialing Specialist. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, impeccable attention to detail, and a commitment to ensuring accurate and timely processing of medical claims and credentialing procedures. This role is pivotal in maintaining the financial health and operational efficiency of our practice.

Responsibilities:

Claim Submission: Prepare and submit accurate and timely medical claims to insurance companies, government agencies, and other third-party payers.
Claim Follow-Up: Proactively follow up on unpaid or denied claims, identifying and resolving issues to ensure maximum reimbursement.
Eligibility Verification: Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits prior to appointments, ensuring accurate billing and reducing claim denials.
Credentialing: Manage the credentialing process for healthcare providers, including initial applications, re-credentialing, and maintaining provider profiles with insurance networks and regulatory bodies.
Compliance: Stay up-to-date on healthcare regulations, coding guidelines, and insurance policies to ensure compliance with industry standards and maximize reimbursement.
Communication: Collaborate effectively with healthcare providers, administrative staff, and insurance representatives to address billing inquiries, resolve discrepancies, and maintain positive relationships.
Additional Responsibilities (Optional):
Social Media Management: Manage the practice's social media accounts, creating engaging content and fostering online community engagement.
Kajabi Experience: Utilize Kajabi platform for online course creation and management, leveraging prior experience to support practice initiatives.
