JOB OVERVIEW

The Content Manager is responsible for developing and implementing the overall content strategy based on our company’s objectives and end users' needs. The ideal candidate will possess a high level of creativity, attention to detail, and project management skills. This role requires a combination of SEO knowledge, content editing, management skills, and the ability to manage a team of writers and editors to deliver high-quality content that engages and converts target audiences.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities and Duties:
SEO Strategy Implementation
Develop and execute effective on-page SEO strategies for various online properties, with a focus on international travel, driving permits, and destination guides.
Optimize blog posts and web content for search engines, ensuring high rankings for targeted keywords.
Use analytics tools to track content performance and make data-driven decisions to improve visibility and engagement.

Content Development and Editing
Edit and proofread content to ensure clarity, engagement, SEO, and factual accuracy.
Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality, and tone of voice, and optimized for search and user experience.
Maintain a content calendar, plan out content in advance, and manage the publication schedule.

Management and Leadership
Lead, coach, and manage a team of content writers and editors, providing feedback and directions to ensure content quality.
Establish workflows and processes for content creation, review, and distribution.
Manage tasks and deadlines for the content team, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality content.

Analysis and Reporting
Analyze web traffic metrics and suggest solutions to boost web presence.
Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization.
Report on the performance of content, using specific metrics to track and optimize content strategy.

Qualifications:
Proven work experience as a Content Manager.
Expertise in content management.
Hands-on experience with Google Workspace and WordPress or other CMS tools.
Familiarity with SEO, keyword research, and Google Analytics.
Project management skills and attention to detail.

Ability to lead and motivate a team of creative personnel.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Analytical mind with business acumen.
