Video Editor

Overview:
As a video editor, you will be responsible for assembling recorded raw material into a finished product suitable for broadcasting or publishing on various platforms. You will work closely with producers and directors to achieve the desired end result while utilizing your creative and technical skills across a range of video editing software, including Final Cut Pro, CapCut, Adobe Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, and/or iMovie, to enhance the visual storytelling of the content.

Responsibilities:
- Editing: Utilize your proficiency in video editing software, including Final Cut Pro, CapCut, Adobe Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, and/or iMovie, to assemble recorded footage into a finished project that meets the specifications of the project brief.
- Trimming and Arranging Footage: Review raw footage and trim segments to ensure the logical sequencing and smooth running of the final product. Arrange footage according to scripts or storyboards provided by the creative team.
- Transitioning and Effects: Apply transitions, visual effects, and other enhancements using the various features available in Final Cut Pro, CapCut, Adobe Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, and/or iMovie to improve the overall visual appeal and narrative flow of the video.
- Audio Editing: Sync audio tracks, adjust sound levels, and incorporate music and sound effects using the audio editing tools provided by the software.
- Color Correction and Grading: Enhance the visual quality of footage through color correction and grading techniques available in the software to achieve the desired aesthetic.
- Collaboration: Work closely with producers, directors, and other teaUpgrade to see actual infombers to understand project requirements and ensure the final product aligns with the creative vision.
- Feedback Incorporation: Incorporate feedback from clients, producers, and directors to refine the final product and ensure it meets expectations.
- File Management: Organize and maintain a library of project files using the features provided by the editing software, ensuring they are easily accessible and backed up for future reference.
- Stay Updated: Keep abreast of industry trends, software updates, and new techniques across Final Cut Pro, CapCut, Adobe Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, and/or iMovie to continually improve skills and efficiency.

Requirements:
- Proficiency in Multiple Video Editing Software: Demonstrated expertise in using Final Cut Pro, CapCut, Adobe Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, and/or iMovie, with the ability to effectively utilize their features to edit and enhance video content.
- English-Speaking Proficiency: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English to effectively collaborate with teaUpgrade to see actual infombers and understand project requirements.
- Remote Work Setup: A reliable internet connection and a dedicated workspace conducive to remote work, ensuring consistent access to project files and communication channels.
- Creativity: Strong creative skills with the ability to visualize and execute ideas effectively across different editing platforms.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure the quality and accuracy of the final product, regardless of the editing software being used.
- Time Management: Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously across different editing platforms.
- Problem-Solving Ability: Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and find solutions independently, leveraging the features available in each editing software.
- Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing proficiency in Final Cut Pro, CapCut, Adobe Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, and/or iMovie, with examples of work completed using each software.
- Availability during EST Business Hours: Ability to work during Eastern Standard Time business hours, accommodating meetings, collaborations, and project deadlines within this time zone.
