JOB OVERVIEW

**Job Title:** SEO Specialist
**Department:** Marketing
**Location:** Remote
**Reports to:** [SEO Manager, Marketing Director, etc.]

**Job Overview:**
We are looking for an experienced SEO Specialist to join our dynamic marketing team. The SEO Specialist will be responsible for analyzing, reviewing, and implementing changes to websites so they are optimized for search engines. This position aims to maximize the traffic to a site by improving page rank within search engines.

**Responsibilities:**
- **Website Analysis:** Conduct thorough site analysis and audits to identify current issues and opportunities related to SEO.
- **Keyword Research:** Perform detailed keyword research on a regular basis to determine potential targeted keywords.
- **SEO Strategy:** Develop and implement effective SEO strategies with goals that include SERP performance, conversion and traffic.
- **On-Page Optimization:** Optimize website content for the best possible search engine ranking, including meta tags, headlines, page titles, alt tags, and descriptions.
- **Off-Page Optimization:** Develop and implement link-building strategies, including outreach and content marketing.
- **Content Development:** Work with content teams to ensure that content is SEO friendly and optimized to attract and engage visitors.
- **SEO Trends and Updates:** Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and changes with SEO and major search engines.
- **Technical SEO:** Monitor, identify, and resolve technical issues, such as 404 errors, load times, and crawl errors.
- **Reporting:** Track, report, and analyze website analytics and SEO initiatives and campaigns.
- **Collaboration:** Collaborate with web developers and marketing team to properly implement SEO best practices in coding and campaigns.

**Qualifications:**
- Proven experience as an SEO Specialist or similar role with a track record of successful SEO strategy and implementation.
- In-depth knowledge of research principles and methods and experience in analyzing data.
- Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition.
- In-depth experience with website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends).
- Experience with SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Google Search Console).
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS and website administration.
- High-quality reporting, copywriting and analytic skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (marketing, IT, etc.) preferred.
