Job Description:

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Part-Time Senior Drafter (Probationary) to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings using advanced software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Chief Architect, SketchUp, and other relevant drafting tools on a flexible schedule. During the probationary period, the Senior Drafter will work closely with our team to understand project requirements, create and revise drawings, and become familiar with our drafting standards and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Utilize various software programs to design, draft, and detail structures, systems, and equipment.
2. Collaborate with teaUpgrade to see actual infombers and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into detailed drawings.
3. Review and revise drawings to ensure they meet the established specifications and standards.
4. Assist in estimating project costs by calculating labor, material, and related costs.
5. Participate in teaUpgrade to see actual infoetings to discuss design ideas, project progress, and issues.
6. Maintain an organized file system for drawings and specifications.
7. Stay current with the latest drafting tools and software updates.
8. Must be able to support service level agreements for delivery of full plan sets upon request

Qualifications:

1. A Bachelor’s degree in Drafting, Engineering, or a related field.
2. Proven experience as a drafter in a related industry.
3. Proficiency in drafting software, such as Revit, AutoCAD, Chief Architect, SketchUp, and others.
4. Strong understanding of drafting techniques and familiarity with engineering terminology.
5. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
6. Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

Technical Requirements:

Must have a computer system with minimum specifications (Quad-Core Processor, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD) capable of running complex drafting software.

Must have a stable and reliable high-speed internet connection (minimum 25 Mbps download speed and 10 Mbps upload speed).

This is a flexible, part-time position with potential for conversion to full-time after the successful completion of the probationary period. We offer a competitive compensation package.
