Layout and Web Designer

Overview:

The Layout and Web Designer will play a key role in conceptualizing, designing, and implementing layouts and web designs for various digital platforms and projects. This individual will work closely with our creative team, clients, and stakeholders to bring ideas to life and deliver exceptional design solutions that meet and exceed expectations.

Job Description:

Collaborate with clients, project managers, and creative teaUpgrade to see actual infombers to understand project requirements, objectives, and target audience.

Conceptualize and develop layout designs, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for websites, landing pages, and digital marketing materials.

Design visually appealing and user-friendly web interfaces that enhance user experience and drive engagement across desktop and mobile devices.

Implement responsive design principles and ensure designs are optimized for performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.

Translate design concepts into HTML/CSS code or work closely with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs.

Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to iterate and refine designs based on user insights and best practices.

Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and design tools to continually enhance skills and capabilities.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between design and brand guidelines, messaging, and objectives.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, or related field.

Proven experience as a layout designer, web designer, or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing web design projects and layouts.

Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD), Sketch, or Figma.

Solid understanding of UI/UX principles, responsive design techniques, and web standards.

Strong HTML/CSS skills with the ability to create clean, semantic code for web layouts and designs.

Excellent visual design skills with a keen eye for typography, color theory, and composition.

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate design concepts and rationale to stakeholders.
