Interior Designer (With exp in AutoCAD and REVIT)

A US client who has an extensive experience in building custom luxury homes is looking for an artistic and detail-oriented Interior Designer who have also experience working on luxury residentials or hotels.

In this role, your responsibilities include visualizing, sketching, and drafting design plans as per client goals, sourcing products and materials, determining costs and inspecting construction to ensure alignment with design specifications are met. You will also be expected to comply with the regulatory environment around inspections and building codes.

The successful candidate must be able to think creatively about the use of space, color and movement and will draw on other artistic mediums for creative inspiration. They should also be effective communicators with the ability to persuade in communicating a design idea.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Outline client design objectives.
Conceptualize, sketch, and draft design plans including cabinet design plans.
Determine cost of completion and project requirements in the budgeting phase.
Set a timeline for the completion of an interior design project.
Source materials and products included in plans.
Create 'mood boards' to sample your design vision.
Utilize computer applications in the design process.
Inspect design after completion to determine whether client goals have been met.

Education and Work Experience:
With at least three (3) years’ working experience in decorating interior spaces (consultations, renovations, space planning and new constructions) preferably on luxury residential or hotels.
Bachelor's degree in interior design or related field.
Proficient with AutoCAD and Revit for drafting.
Preferably with Buildertrend experience but not required.
Preferably with rendering abilities and skills in using Adobe Photoshop of the likes.
Must be organized and can produce quality outputs.
Portfolio of design work.
Excellent communication skills, especially in regard to communicating an artistic vision.
Expertise in layout, colour, lighting, materials selection, custom furniture, and all installations.
