Virtual Assistant for Supplier Sourcing in Photography Industry

We are a dynamic and innovative automotive company seeking an experienced Virtual Assistant to assist in sourcing high-quality suppliers for custom fabrics, frames, and fittings, and lighting components needed for a 20x20 foot automotive softbox. We have built and installed a prototype, and are exploring manufacturing them on a larger scale.

The ideal candidate will have excellent research skills, and a proven track record in supplier management and negotiation.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed market research to identify potential suppliers for 20x20 foot custom fabrics, frames, and fittings.
- Evaluate and compare suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery times.
- Initiate contact with potential suppliers to gather detailed product and pricing information.
- Negotiate terms with suppliers to meet budget and quality requirements.
- Maintain organized records of supplier information and communication.
- Provide regular updates on sourcing progress and recommendations.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Purchasing Agent is required
- Strong research and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and capable of learning new software quickly.
