To be eligible for this role, you must have a minimum of 5+ years of Australian tax experience acquired in an Australian Public Practice firm, as well as experience managing a small team.

Job Summary:

As the Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing one of our teams of accounting professionals, including job management, reviews, and training less experienced members of the team. You will also be responsible for undertaking all production accounting activities, including preparation, and analysis of financial statements and taxation requirements, and delivering quality, accurate outcomes. Experience using Xero and XPM is highly desirable.

Technical responsibilities will include:

?Review of tax returns & financial reports prepared by current staff.
Providing staff with feedback on areas of improvement etc
Monthly & quarterly reporting.
Business formation and structures, including financial and taxation advice on the businesses structure, plans and operations.
Advise on matters including the purchase and sale of businesses, mergers & acquisitions, capital financing, and taxation matters.
Examine and advise on clients operating costs, income and expenditure.
Ongoing training and webinars.
Mentoring and training less experienced members of the team.
Other accounting tasks, such as responding to ATO audits/reviews, preparation of quarterly BAS reports, SGC reporting.
Preparation of annual tax returns & financial accounts for SMSF.
Preparation of annual tax returns & financial accounts for:
