Job Summary
The HR Manager oversees the strategy and administration of the Human Resources functions. This post oversees and does the hiring and posting of productive and ethical personnel into our growing organization. To ensure the staff members are performing well, the HR Manager also oversees policy, writes policies, standard operating procedures, and job descriptions, as well as regular performance reviews. The responsibilities of this position also include: employee relations, onboarding, system account security, EEO, staff development/discipline, terminations, benefits administration, and compensation review. The HR manager also manages the communications systems of the organization, along with the Communications Manager, to ensure that all communications into and out of the company are routed and handled correctly. The HR Manager must collaborate with the management team to develop personnel strategy based on departmental needs.
Responsibilities and Duties
• Highlight of Responsibilities: Talent acquisition, benefits administration, investigations, discipline, performance assessments, compensation analysis, policy implementation and enforcement, maintaining job descriptions, and overall compliance.
• How the HR Manager fits into the organization as a whole. The HR Manager reports to the CEO. This position requires an understanding of healthcare policy- especially as it relates to home healthcare. The position oversees compliance and legal rudiments.
Qualifications and Skills
• At least two years of progressive experience in Human Resources, including experience with hiring, benefits, and personnel management
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills- verbal and written
• PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred
• Knowledge of HR principles and federal/state/local regulations in Philippines
• Experience in healthcare (especially home healthcare) preferred
• Be detail-oriented
• Have a typing speed of about 50WPM or greater
• Ability to handle a lot of communications
• Resourceful and solution-oriented
