We are seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer with a strong background in handling large print files to join our team. As a Graphic Designer specializing in large print files, you will play a pivotal role in producing high-quality visual materials that meet our clients' diverse needs. Your expertise in managing and optimizing large-scale print projects will be essential to ensuring exceptional design outcomes and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Large Print Design: Create visually appealing designs for a wide range of large print materials, such as banners, posters, billboards, trade show displays, retail displays, and more.

File Management: Efficiently manage and manipulate large print files while ensuring optimal resolution, color accuracy, and quality. Prepare files for various print methods, including digital and offset printing.

Format Conversion: Adapt existing designs to different sizes and formats, maintaining design integrity and readability across various dimensions.

Color Management: Ensure consistent color accuracy across different mediums and substrates, taking into consideration printing processes and color profiles.

Pre-Press Checks: Conduct thorough pre-press checks to identify and rectify any potential issues in the design files before they are sent for printing.

Collaboration: Work closely with the creative team, clients, and print vendors to understand project requirements and provide design solutions that align with client expectations.

Optimization: Optimize large print files for size and performance without compromising visual quality, taking into account printing limitations and technology constraints.

Innovation: Stay updated with industry trends, new printing technologies, and design techniques to bring innovative ideas to the team and enhance the quality of large print designs.

Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and priorities are effectively managed.

Quality Control: Conduct rigorous quality control checks on completed print materials to ensure they meet design specifications and are ready for production.

To be eligible for application, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• Proficient in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant tools.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of large print projects that demonstrate design skills, attention to detail, and an understanding of large format design principles.
• In-depth knowledge of print production processes, color management, and file preparation for large print formats.
• Excellent understanding of typography, layout, composition, and visual hierarchy.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with teaUpgrade to see actual infombers, clients, and print vendors.
• Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and meet tight deadlines.
• Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot design and technical issues related to large print files.
Additional Information:
• 25 hours per week on average, however if we can add more to the role there is a possibility of making it full-time.
