JOB OVERVIEW

The Junior Graphic Designer will play a pivotal role in driving the visual direction of the Smith Co. Distributing’s family of brands. This is an exciting opportunity for a designer who’s looking to take their creative career to the next level.

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Junior Graphic Designer to join our creative team. In this role, you will work closely with our senior designers and creative directors to bring visions to life through compelling visual design. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects across different mediums, including print, digital, and branding across a diverse product line including but not limited to knives, cannabis, technology, sunglasses, flags, koozies, coffee, socks, shirts, hats, stickers and more.

This is a full time, remote, and salaried position, with an earning potential of 15.5k annual depending on experience. This position reports to the Art Director and Chief Creative Officer.

Responsibilities:
• Assist senior designers in developing creative concepts and executing design solutions for various projects.
• Create engaging and visually appealing designs for print collateral, digital assets, social media graphics, and other marketing materials.
• Collaborate with teaUpgrade to see actual infombers to brainstorm ideas, refine designs, and ensure consistency across all brand assets.
• Prepare files for production and communicate with vendors to ensure accurate execution of designs.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in graphic design, and contribute fresh ideas to the team.
• Handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Catalog management.
• Review production files to ensure accuracy.

Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or equivalent portfolio.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other design software.
• Strong design portfolio showcasing creative skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to take direction and feedback positively, and willingness to learn and grow.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• A passion for design and a desire to stay updated on the latest design trends and technologies.
• Excellent verbal and written understanding of the English Language.
• Excellent understanding of US Pop Culture.
• Must be highly Self Driven / Motivated.
• Strong understanding of American pop culture, trends, etc...
• Photography, video, animation, copywriting, 3d rendering and other multi-media experience is a nice bonus.
