The Role:
We're on the lookout for a Data Engineering and Analysis Expert, a role that merges the critical skills of data engineering (data collection and storage) with data analysis (data cleaning, transformation, exploration, and business decision support). This role is key to transforming how we access, process, and utilize data for our supply chain and finance departments.

Core Responsibilities:
- Design and implement a robust data collection and storage strategy, moving from manual Excel inputs and CSV exports from SaaS tools to automated, scalable solutions, including APIs.
- Apply your expertise in data cleaning and transformation to prepare data for insightful analysis.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover trends, efficiencies, and opportunities within our supply chain and financial operations.
- Utilize SQL for database management, Python for data processing and automation, and Power BI for dynamic data visualization.
- Serve as a strategic advisor, leveraging data insights to inform business decisions and strategies.
- Oversee project management aspects of the data system overhaul, ensuring timely execution and alignment with business goals.

What We Need:
- Expert level proficiency in SQL, Python, and data visualization tools like Power BI.
- Strong background in data engineering practices, including ETL processes and API integration.
- Experience in designing data storage solutions for scalability and efficiency.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of handling complex data challenges.
- Effective communication skills, capable of articulating data insights and strategies.
- Self-motivated with a proven track record in managing data-focused projects.
