Job Title: Part-Time Social Media Manager 10 - 15 Hours Per Week
Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and creative individual to join our team as a Part-Time Social Media Manager. This role involves creating engaging content for multiple social media accounts based on provided prompts. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of various social media platforms, and the ability to work independently. This position offers flexibility and the opportunity to collaborate closely with our team.
Responsibilities:
Create and schedule content for 3 social media accounts based on provided prompts and guidelines.
Develop engaging captions, graphics, and multimedia content tailored to each platform's audience and style.
Utilise ClickUp or similar project management tools to organise content creation tasks and deadlines.
Monitor social media channels for engagement, comments, and messages, responding promptly and appropriately.
Collaborate with tea
Stay up-to-date with social media trends, algorithms, and best practices to optimise content performance.
Track and analyse key metrics to assess the effectiveness of content and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
Attend regular meetings with the team to discuss progress, provide updates, and brainstorm new ideas.
Requirements:
Proven experience managing social media accounts for businesses or organisations.
Strong writing skills with a keen eye for detail and grammar.
Proficiency in using ClickUp or similar project management tools.
Creative thinking and the ability to generate innovative content ideas.
Familiarity with social media analytics tools and platforms (e.g.,
Excellent time management and organisational skills to meet deadlines consistently.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a remote team environment.
Knowledge of various social media platforms and their unique features and demographics.
Availability for regular virtual meetings with tea
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
Work on GMT time schedule
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience working as a freelance social media manager or in a gig-based role.
Graphic design skills and proficiency in Canva & Adobe Creative Suite or similar software.
Understanding of SEO principles and how they apply to social media content.
Experience with paid social media advertising campaigns and budget management.
Knowledge of industry-specific trends and terminology (e.g., recruitment, hospitality).
