WordPress (Divi) Website Designer/Service Provider

OBJECTIVE

Our website serves as a critical touchpoint for credibility with our clients, portraying our brand as highly professional, expert, engaging, approachable, and premium. We aim to collaborate with a creative yet pragmatic professional who can not only understand our brand but also help elevate our brand through WordPress expertise in design and development.

We already have an existing WordPress website, so we are not starting from scratch. We use the WordPress Divi theme. Currently, we have a reasonably well-functioning website in place, but we continuously seek to make improvements to it, both from a design and upkeep perspective.

SCOPE OF PARTNERSHIP

1. Design Reviews and Ongoing Maintenance: We are seeking an ongoing partnership for design reviews and maintenance. The role of this new partner will be key to ensuring our website stays relevant, visually appealing, and aligned with our evolving brand identity.

2. WordPress Expertise: A deep and experienced understanding of WordPress is essential. Preferred would be someone who has at least 5 years of WordPress experience and can demonstrate previous work using WordPress Divi theme, too. We specifically seek a designer with a keen eye for detail and the ability to merge creativity with practicality within the WordPress framework.

WORKING HOURS AND SUPPORT

We are based in Singapore and, to minimize time zone differences, we prefer to collaborate with a professional based in Asia (or who works during our work time zones). We operate from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (Singapore Time). Responsive support is crucial for us so that we can address concerns right away. Having access to 24/7 customer support would provide a significant advantage. We primarily communicate via email but can also use WhatsApp for faster interactions.

PREFERRED PARTNERSHIP ARRANGEMENT

To start: After assigning website projects/tasks to you, we would look to you to provide an estimate of the project duration. We prefer to agree to a project-based fee (instead of being billed on an hourly basis).

Ongoing: Once we feel the partnership is a good one for both parties, we will purchase a set number of hours for your services, for which we'll compensate you (like an upfront retainer). These hours will be available for use as needed, with no expiration date. Whenever you complete a task, you subtract the time used from the number of hours paid for. When there are no more hours remaining, we will top-up and pay for another set of retainer hours.

RATES

We will pay competitive rates, and rates are negotiable based on your skills, experience, and qualifications. Payments will be made via Wise.

SAMPLE TASKS/PROJECTS

1. Creating a new menu item and consolidating two separate webpages: This involves integrating a new menu item into our website and merging content from two existing pages.

2. Upgrading our media page: We require enhancements to our media page, including improving its layout, functionality, and overall user experience.

3. Developing a strategy to enhance the visibility of certain key pages: We need a plan to improve the visibility of pages on our website that are currently not easily accessible or discoverable to users. (This is not “SEO” work – but more about design.)

4. Continuous design enhancements for the website: Our website design requires ongoing improvements. As we prioritize branding consistency, all design changes must undergo approval to ensure alignment with our brand identity.
