IT MSP / System Engineer for Resort - Sonicwall, VMware, Ubiquiti, Windows

We are looking for an experienced IT MSP Systems Engineer to join our team, with a strong focus on SonicWall Firewall and Ubiquiti equipment management. The ideal candidate will be a Windows-certified expert, proficient in Active Directory and equipped with a broad range of IT, computer science, and related skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and manage network solutions, specializing in a SonicWall Firewall and Ubiquiti equipment.
Maintain and optimize Active Directory environments, ensuring seamless operation and security.
Monitor network performance, identify and resolve issues proactively.
Implement and manage security measures to protect data and network infrastructure.
Conduct regular system backups and disaster recovery operations.
Provide technical support and guidance to clients and teaUpgrade to see actual infombers.
Management of existing server and maintenece on server for maximum efficiency
Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends to recommend improvements and enhancements.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as an IT Systems Engineer or similar role within an MSP environment.
High proficiency with SonicWall Firewall and Ubiquiti equipment.
Windows-certified expert, particularly in Active Directory, with a strong understanding of network protocols, IP configurations, and server management.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with cloud services, virtualization technologies, and remote monitoring and management (RMM) tools.
Certifications in network security, Cisco, or other relevant IT disciplines. Must be a trustworthy individual capable of doing a lot of work in "downtime", but also being availble to help support any issues that arrise. Hours can fluxuate during the initial 30 days and may go up to ensure initial goals are met. Long term position if you are the right candidate.
