MIS Reporting Analyst

Job Summary :
The Reporting Analyst plays a crucial role in the organization by collecting, analyzing, and presenting data to stakeholders to facilitate informed decision-making. This position involves extracting data from various sources, organizing it into meaningful formats, and generating reports that provide valuable insights into business performance and trends.

Key Responsibilities
- Data Collection: Gather data from multiple sources including databases, spreadsheets, and other systems
- Data Analysis : Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that can inform business decisions.
- Report Generation : Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and other analytical tools to present findings to stakeholders.
- Data Visualization: Create visualizations such as charts, graphs, and tables to effectively communicate insights from the data.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of data used for reporting
purposes
- Ad Hoc Analysis : Conduct ad hoc analysis as requested by management to address specific business questions or concerns.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline data collection and reporting processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, finance, and operations to understand data requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or related field
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, macros, and formulas
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Proven experience in data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
