JOB OVERVIEW

We are a high end video and photo studio specializing in weddings. Our brand is built on a deep passion for creative storytelling and candid, genuine connection. Who we're looking for:

- An Effective Communicator: You have high emotional intelligence and can communicate clearly and professionally with clients, vendors, and teaUpgrade to see actual infombers to build and maintain their trust and confidence.
- A Self Starter: You have the ability to recognize and respond to potential problems or areas for improvement, and jump into action to solve them independently and creatively.
- A Master Multitasker: You can juggle multiple priorities and quickly shift tasks to complete a variety of duties without letting anything fall through the cracks.

How work is assigned:

- You have full control over your schedule. Almost all tasks are email based communications with clients. So while you will need to check emails regularly during the week (M-F), the exact timing is flexible.
- You will be assigned events 6 weeks in advance, and carry them through final delivery (typically 6-10 weeks after the event - so 12-16 weeks total)
- Weddings are seasonal, so workload will vary. There may be ample work April-November, but may be little to no work December-March.
- The number of weddings assigned per week can vary from 0-6, but you’re more than welcome to cap that at a lower amount if you have other responsibilities.
- Our one red line: once you are assigned an event, you are responsible for it. If you will be unavailable the week of the event to finalize the details, you are responsible for connecting with the rest of the team to find someone to cover you.

Core responsibilities:

- Shepherd clients through our production cycle, from onboarding new bookings into our CRM, through finalizing event details the week of their event, through delivery of final edits and materials
- Assist clients, vendors, and teaUpgrade to see actual infombers in finding solutions to questions that may arise throughout the production cycle
- Work collaboratively with the photo & video team to make sure they are fully prepared for their upcoming events

Skills & qualifications:

- 1-3 years experience in an operations or administrative role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and G Suite
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- A strong focus in customer service
- Outstanding critical thinking skills & attention to detail
- Industry experience in event coordination or weddings a plus
- Availability Monday through Friday, California time

Compensation:

- $30-40/Wedding, dependent on experience
- 75% payout for completing event prep - 2 to 4 hours of total work (email correspondence with clients to attain and finalize event details and timeline, call sheet prep & sending to team)
- 25% for completing final deliverables - 30 minutes to 1 hour of total work (Following up on preference forms, uploading finished films & galleries, confirming all deliverables are sent and projects are completed)
