URGENT - Experienced QBO Bookkeeper w/ eComm & Inventory Experience Needed - Board Game Publishing Company

Genius Games is looking for a Finance & Accounting Manager to help run the day-to-day financial operations of our company. This role is critical for Genius Games, and the input, contributions, and decisions made by this person will be extremely important to the success of our company. With this in mind, to fill this role, you must be able to work roughly half of your hours in the US Central time zone with our team.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS LIKE:

-Highly Proficient in Bookkeeping using Quickbooks Online - Mandatory
-Highly Proficient in Spreadsheets (Excel and Google Sheets) - Mandatory
-Highly proficient in finding answers via Google or YouTube - Mandatory
-Highly Proficient in eCommerce Inventory Bookkeeping
-Solid understanding and practical experience with accrual accounting principles.
-Significant experience in inventory accounting, with a focus on accurate tracking and reporting of inventory costs and quantities.
-Experience in e-commerce bookkeeping, especially with Amazon and Shopify.
-Proficient in math, logic, and analytic problem solving
-Personable communicator via email or verbal communication


RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES WILL LIKELY INCLUDE:

-Managing bills, invoices, categorization and reconciling all transactions in QBO
-Creating financial projections, cashflow forecasting and financial reporting to our team
-Researching ways to grow the company or save us money
-Team-wide meetings and strategic growth
-Administrative tasks and upkeep
-Regularly updating and maintaining e-commerce financial records, including sales, returns, and expenses.
-Collaborating closely with the operations team to ensure accurate financial reporting and decision-making.
-Ensuring adherence to accrual accounting standards in all financial transactions.

COMPENSATION
The position will include a three-month training and onboarding period, which will be compensated at $7 per hour for the first three months given your experience. After this period, compensation will increase to $9 USD per hour for the next nine months of working under the current management to advance in their role (more time if needed).

After a year of working with our company, compensation will increase to $10 to $12 per hour USD, with annual promotions and raises to follow, and it can be higher given your level of success in the position.
Pay periods are on the 5th and 20th of each month. We will also reimburse your OFS PhilHealth and SSS self-payments on a monthly basis after your training period.

Over the next 3 - 5 years, this individual would progress in their role with more strategically focused responsibilities and manage a team at higher compensation ranging from $30,000 USD ($1.7M Philippine pesos) to $40,000 USD ($2.25M Philippine pesos) annually.
