We’re looking for someone who loves editing videos to join our team as a Video Editor and Animator. This person will be working collaboratively with the production team to produce amazing videos. About the role:

Wavelength is on the hunt for a Video Editor and Animator.

We are looking for an experienced, passionate, and hard-working Video Editor and Animator. In this role you'll be responsible for editing and animating videos for social media.

This role reports to the Executive Producer.



Responsibilities and duties:
--------------------------------------

• Collaborate with the production team to conceptualise and develop engaging animated video content that aligns with project goals and objectives.
• Create high-quality 2D and/or 3D animations, motion graphics, and visual effects for a variety of platforms including web, social media, advertising, and presentations.
• Utilise industry-standard animation software (e.g. Adobe After Effects) and video editing software (e.g. Adobe Premiere) to bring concepts to life with precision and creativity.
• Interpret storyboards, scripts, and briefs to accurately translate ideas into visually stunning animations.
• Maintain consistency in style, brand guidelines, and quality standards across all animated projects.
• Incorporate feedback and revisions efficiently to meet project deadlines while ensuring client satisfaction.
• Stay updated on the latest trends, techniques, and technologies in animation and motion design to continuously enhance skills and capabilities.
• Work collaboratively with a team of writers, producers, editors and sound engineers.
• Any other relevant tasks, as required.Responsibilities and duties



About you:

Here's what we're looking for in the right candidate:

• You have at least 2 years’ experience in video animation
• You can edit videos to an exceptional standard
• You have a keen eye for video quality and getting edits just right
• You are fluent in video editing software
• You are fluent in video animation software

Flexible work arrangements:

This role is a 100% work-from-home position. In fact, our company collaborates completely remotely from all around the country. Our headquarters are in Melbourne, and we work regular business hours on Australian Eastern Standard Time.
This position is a full-time role. We will also consider flexible working arrangements for the right candidate.



Remuneration and benefits:
---------------------------------------

The salary range for this role is PHP 35,000 and upwards, depending on your experience and skill level.
