JOB OVERVIEW

Connected Interactive is seeking an Intermediate level Programmatic Ad Operations Specialist to join its Advertising Operations team. As a Digital Ad Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for ad trafficking ad delivery and optimization in proprietary and third-party systems: this role will require an in-depth knowledge of programmatic media buying platforms such as DV360 and The Trade Desk. THOSE WITH ONLY SEARCH AND SOCIAL EXPERIENCE WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.

The Advertising Operations Specialist will be part of the team responsible for implementing digital ad campaigns for our clients. You’ll be helping execute display, video and mobile campaigns that target the appropriate audience at the right time.
As an Advertising Operations Specialist, you will be assisting with everything it takes to run a great digital ad campaign in a programmatic environment. Everything from trafficking, monitoring, and troubleshooting issues for our clients’ campaigns across multiple mediums (mobile, display, video, native etc) and DSPs (DV360, The Trade Desk, etc), analyzing reports and optimizing campaigns. You’ll get to use various technologies, and act as a medium between the Operations team and Client Success, providing recommendations and analysis of campaign performance. As this role is remote, a certain level of independence is expected, but you will still be part of a close knit team, so the ability to work with others remotely comfortably is key.

This role is based in the EST (Toronto/New York) timezone, with a 9a-5pm shift.

Daily responsibilities include:
- Assist in developing strategy and campaign structure.
- Setup campaigns within our proprietary dashboard.
- Setup, and QA advertising campaigns using multiple DSPs.
- Responsible for producing reports, including data inputting and suggesting insights.
- Troubleshoot ad serving errors and report discrepancies.
- Process creative changes and campaign updates.
- Support sales with client inquiries, technical support and customer service.
- Ensuring platform accounts are compliant with our defined best practices.
Preferred experience includes; basic knowledge of HTML and JavaScript; an intimate knowledge of digital advertising. Strong general computer skills is an asset, and you should be comfortable communicating with the different departments of the company. Experience in running campaigns through Social platforms such as Meta, LinkedIn and TikTok are a strong asset, along with experience in GoogleAds. Must be proactive, friendly, and work well under pressure.

Required Skills:
- 2-4 years experience in a media-related role, with a preference for digital media.
- Aware of programmatic landscape and partner value proposition.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Organizational and prioritization skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and with Google’s suite of products (Gmail, Google Drive, DV360).
- Innovation – come to managers with new ideas/processes/additions to the analytics toolkit.
- Solutions oriented.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and client demands.
- Strong accountability for the outputs of your campaigns.
- Ability to rationalize and explain decisions using both logic and data.

Preferred Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of popular DSPs, their capabilities/execution, verification partners, data partnerships.
- Experience running campaigns in Social platforms: Meta, LinkedIn.
- Experience with GoogleAds.
- Experience with Google Tag Manager.
- Basic knowledge of HTML and JavaScript.
- Mastery of excel.
- Fluency in Portuguese is an asset.
