Job Description:

Create and implement the code necessary to create, maintain, and develop a mobile application for a Shopify e-commerce store.
Regularly and proactively communicate with the Web Development team on the status of your projects, tasks, priorities, deadlines, and issues.
Understanding of software architecture and design patterns, as well as software life cycle methodologies.
Strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Develop responsive HTML and CSS that look great on all devices, given mobile and desktop designs.
Update existing mobile app content, adding new types of templates, pages, and functionality.
Troubleshoot and fix mobile app technical issues.
Complete development tasks with an eye for design, requiring minimal rounds of QA revisions.
Ability to understand, discuss, and adhere to technical requirements.
An entrepreneurial attitude and a deep sense of ownership and pride in everything that you do.
Highly self-motivated and able to work autonomously while also knowing when to ask for help.
Skills required:

Strong background in mobile app development, including experience in developing mobile apps for Shopify e-commerce stores.
Prior experience working with Shopify and developing mobile apps for Shopify stores is essential.
Knowledge of programming languages such as Swift, Java, and Kotlin.
Knowledge of mobile app development frameworks like React Native or Flutter.
Familiarity with Shopify APIs and integration methods for mobile apps.
Familiar with mobile app UX & UI best practices and the importance of the user journey
Exemplary communication, organization, and time management skills
Impeccable attention to detail – every pixel matters
Key Qualifications:
– Excellent analytics and critical reasoning skills
– Excellent English writing and verbal skills
– Ability to focus on details and think outside of the box
– Possess a pro-active attitude and have great self-management skills
– Comfortable with project management skills and task prioritizing

– Applicants must be able to provide a case study or portfolio showcasing their experience in mobile app development, especially for Shopify e-commerce stores.

– Available to work from 11 AM – 7 PM EST is preferable, US weekdays and some weekends, flexibility of schedule is a plus.

Bonus Skills:

Skills in website development, including proficiency in web development languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as experience with Shopify theme development and customization.
Experience developing custom WordPress plugins or Shopify apps
Experience coding HTML emails
