JOB OVERVIEW

Medical Biller. Part time $4-$4.5 per hour, 15 hours per week (Mon-Tue-Wed).

Check claim status, resubmit claims, submit appeals
Follow up denial claims
Investigating and appealing denied claims.
Check insurance eligibility
Submit insurance authorization
Preparing and submitting billing data and medical claims to insurance companies.
Ensuring the patient’s medical information is accurate and up to date.
Preparing bills and invoices, and documenting amounts due for medical procedures and services.
Collecting and reviewing referrals and pre-authorizations.
Post payments


Office Support
Coordinating and Communicating Responsibilities (requires use of phone calls and emails)
Filing and uploading digital files and other office duties
Assist with auditing duties
Data entry
Assist with other administrative tasks


Education Requirement: Bachelor, or Higher education

Other Requirements

*Fast and reliable internet (minimum 50mbps)
*Fast and reliable computer
*Using software for time tracking and productivity
*Minimum 1 year of working overnight
*Minimum 1 year of working for American company or billing company for American healthcare providers
*Healthcare background or history of working for healthcare clinic/agency or medical background
