Role Overview:

In this critical role, you will lead the development of our e-commerce website, focusing on creating a platform that is not only visually appealing but also optimized for functionality and user experience. You will work closely with our Graphic Designer, leveraging Figma designs to ensure the website aligns with our brand's aesthetics and UX/UI principles. Direct collaboration with the CEO and the design team will be pivotal, making your role central to our project's direction and achievement.

What You'll Do:

Platform Selection and Development: DUpgrade to see actual info on and develop the e-commerce site using WooCommerce
Design Implementation: Collaborate with our Graphic Designer to convert Figma designs into a functional and engaging online store.
Ensure a Superior User Experience: Apply UX/UI best practices to deliver a seamless shopping experience, particularly focusing on the unique requirements of selling prescription eyewear online.
Responsive Design: Implement a design that's accessible across all devices, ensuring a wide-reaching, inclusive customer experience.
Collaboration and Project Management: Work closely with the CEO and design team, adhering to timelines and contributing to the project's overall success.

Who You Are:

You have a strong background in e-commerce development, with experience in WooCommerce.
Your portfolio showcases successful e-commerce sites, ideally with examples in the prescription eyewear or similar sectors.
A collaborative team player, you excel in translating design concepts into reality and have a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
Proactive and innovative, you're driven to explore new solutions and technologies to enhance the online shopping experience.
Experience Required:

Minimum 3 years of experience in e-commerce website development.
Proficiency in either WooCommerce, with a strong understanding of their respective ecosystems.
Experience working with Figma and other design tools, demonstrating a capacity to closely collaborate with designers.
