Job Title: Promo Buyer

Job Summary:

The Promo Buyer is responsible for directly managing promotional activities across various marketing channels to increase visibility, drive traffic, and generate leads or sales for our clients. Reporting directly to the supervisor, this position entails executing promotional campaigns efficiently and profitably while demonstrating strong organizational skills, integrity, and accountability. The role includes a 60-day probation period to assess skills and suitability for a full-time position with benefits.

Responsibilities:

Promotional Campaign Management: Plan, execute, and optimize promotional campaigns across multiple marketing channels, including digital, print, radio, television, and social media.
Informed Decision Making: Demonstrate a strong understanding of the promo buying process and make informed decisions to ensure the profitability and effectiveness of promotional activities.
Profitable Decision Making: Independently make profitable promo buying decisions, utilizing available data and insights to maximize ROI without direct input.
Organization and Task Management: Maintain a high level of organization and accountability, managing tasks effectively and meeting deadlines without supervision.
Integrity and Accountability: Handle marketing budgets for clients with integrity and accountability, ensuring transparent and ethical practices in all promotional activities.
Communication: Maintain open communication with the team, supervisor, vendors, and clients, promptly addressing any issues or questions that arise during promotional campaigns.
Proactive Problem Solving: Take a proactive approach to identify areas for improvement or change in promotional strategies, researching and implementing solutions independently.
Continuous Learning: Ask questions and seek answers independently, utilizing resources like Google and ChatGPT to enhance knowledge and skills in promo buying and marketing.
Self-Initiative: Take initiative to address tasks and challenges without waiting for instructions, demonstrating resourcefulness and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in marketing, advertising, or promotions is preferred.
Strong understanding of promo buying processes and marketing principles.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
High level of integrity and accountability when handling marketing budgets.
Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with teaUpgrade to see actual infombers and stakeholders.
Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Google Suite and familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms.
Ability to work independently and take initiative to solve problems and address challenges.
