We are searching for an exceptional Full Stack Developer who brings more than just coding expertise to the table. In this role, you will implement and refine the architecture of critical functionalities within our diverse client projects and ensure that your contributions evolve in tandem with project requirements and vision, always aiming for scalable, efficient, and superior code quality.

Joining us means becoming an integral part of our distributed, multidisciplinary team, dedicating 40 hours per week to not just meeting but exceeding project expectations. Your commitment includes engaging in daily stand-ups, fostering collaboration across time zones, and delivering tasks that meet both time and quality benchmarks. This remote opportunity demands a flexible approach, requiring a 4-hour daily overlap with our core hours (9 am to 5 pm PST) to ensure smooth, continuous communication and team synergy.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Spearhead the development of key features, ensuring alignment with design documentation and seamless integration within our application ecosystem, emphasizing Laravel and PHP for robust server-side solutions.
- Excel in communication, articulating complex technical concepts, and collaborating effectively with teaUpgrade to see actual infombers in English, both in writing and verbally.
- Design and maintain engaging front-end interfaces with React, prioritizing responsiveness and a seamless user experience.
- Harness the power of Laravel and PHP to develop server-side logic, employing APIs/Websockets for dynamic backend communication.
- Uphold exemplary coding standards and contribute actively to our culture of knowledge sharing, code reviews, and continuous improvement.
- Display adaptability and a proactive approach to problem-solving across our technology stack, with a continuous drive to broaden your technical horizons.
- Engage fully in our team's collaborative workflow, participating actively in discussions, stand-ups, and planning sessions to foster a cohesive and supportive work environment.
- Enhance our codebase's efficiency and reusability by contributing to and leveraging our company-wide code repository.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Have deep expertise in Laravel and PHP and a solid understanding of Python 3 for backend integration and React for frontend development.
- Proficiency in TypeScript to ensure type-safe and scalable application development.
- Familiarity with Git or similar version control systems, maintaining code integrity, and facilitating collaborative development.
- A robust grasp of software development best practices, from architectural patterns to optimization and data management strategies.
- Adept at navigating networking principles, skilled in implementing sockets and protocols, and managing efficient client-server interactions.
- Exceptional debugging skills, with the ability to swiftly identify and rectify issues, ensuring the reliability and performance of our applications.
- Commitment to producing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, with the communication skills necessary to clarify requirements and ensure project success.
- A detail-oriented, quality-focused approach, capable of working independently, managing multiple tasks, and meeting deadlines.

Work Environment:

Robot Sea Monster is a fully remote company with teaUpgrade to see actual infombers across the globe. We expect you to provide the appropriate computer, peripherals, and software for this position as well as the high-speed internet, mic, and camera required for video conferencing and voice calls. Robot Sea Monster will provide access to all team systems and any proprietary software or hardware needed for a project.

You must be available via Google Meet, Slack, and email during designated work hours. Additional hours may be required when we need to meet project deadlines and for periodic client meetings. Hours will fluctuate based on the number of projects, project scale, and project timelines.
