Xactimate Estimator with Administrative Duties

We are a restoration contractor located in Phoenix, Arizona USA. We are looking for an experienced estimator who is proficient in Xactimate to write estimates for water mitigation, mold jobs and reconstruction. This position will also have some administrative responsibilities to help support the in-house estimating team. We do not do contents so that experience is not necessary.

Estimating:
• Utilize Xactimate to estimate water mitigation, mold and reconstruction jobs with the help of photos, Matterport, notes and sketches from the team onsite at losses.
• MUST HAVE XACTIMATE EXPERIENCE and be able to submit examples of a couple estimates.
• Ensure estimates align with industry standards and guidelines.
• Review and adjust estimates as needed to comply with insurance company guidelines.
• Continuously learn and look for ways to become more efficient in estimate writing.
• Collaborate with the internal team if information is needed to write estimates in missing or incomplete, or there are other questions/concerns.
• Create and submit estimates within expected timelines.


Admin Responsibilities:
• Upload estimates to the job management software with appropriate notes.
• Work with third party insurance company “programs” and the internal team via software tools to see that projects are moving along to completion timely for the scope of work.
• Run reports and use that information to ensure the team is properly adding notes and data to the job management system so jobs are appropriately documented.


Requirements:
• Own a computer that supports Xactimate and access to reliable high-speed internet is required.
• Proficient in virtual communication tools (video conferencing, messaging apps).
• Detail oriented with focus on accuracy and strong analytical skills.
• MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE in Xactimate, Structure, Interior, Mitigation and Reconstruction
