We are seeking a full-time SEO Manager to join our dynamic SEO department and spearhead growth initiatives across our portfolio of brands. If you have a track record of success in news and media organizations and are ready to take on a leadership role, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with internal and cross-functional partners to develop and lead SEO strategies across one or more verticals within our network.
- Conceptualize business issues or opportunities, define KPIs, analyze data, and make recommendations to editorial, product, and engineering teams.
- Utilize SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console, and Screaming Frog to drive insights and optimization efforts.
- Analyze and respond to algorithm changes, new search features, and tools.
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals.

About You:
- Extensive knowledge of current and emerging SEO best practices with 5+ years of experience building impactful SEO roadmaps.
- Experience collaborating on complex site redesigns, rebuilds, and implementations with large cross-functional teams.
- Subject matter expertise in technical aspects of SEO, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, URL structures, keyword analysis, content optimization, indexing, algorithms, etc.
- Highly knowledgeable in working with and influencing product development teams and roadmaps.
- Self-starter comfortable initiating and leading efforts, projects, and programs.
- Thrive in ambiguity and embrace it as an opportunity.

Requirements:
- Effectively supervise and manage teaUpgrade to see actual infombers, progress, and quality of work.
- Implement SEO best practices and stay current on industry changes.
- Perform keyword research and competitor analysis to drive SEO goals.
- Interpret site code to discover technical SEO issues and provide recommendations.
- Collaborate across teams to optimize new pages and projects for search.
- Support content team for ideation, development, and delivery.
- Develop metrics, measure performance, and build reports.
- Coordinate with management to oversee SEO-based content creation.
