We're a well-established SaaS startup, operating for 12+ years in the customer service industry, and we're looking an IT and Helpdesk VA
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Technical Skills
- Fundamental IT Knowledge: Understanding of computer systems, networks, software, and hardware basics is crucial.
- Troubleshooting Skills: Ability to diagnose and resolve IT issues efficiently; includes familiarity with diagnostic tools and processes for common problems.
- Networking: Knowledge of networking concepts such as DNS, DHCP, IP routing, VPN, and firewall configurations.
- Operating Systems: Proficiency with various operating systems, mainly Windows and macOS, and familiarity with Linux can also be advantageous.
- Security Practices: Awareness of basic cybersecurity practices, such as virus protection, data encryption, and user authentication.
- Problem-Solving Skills
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to approach problems logically and come up with effective solutions.
- Resourcefulness: Using available resources and knowledge bases to find solutions to new or uncommon problems.
- Prioritization: Skill in evaluating issue severity and business impact to prioritize tasks effectively, especially in high-volume environments.
