SEO/Web development Specialist

Modern Law is a leading divorce and family law firm based in Arizona, dedicated to providing our clients with compassionate and effective legal representation. Our team is committed to excellence, and we are currently seeking someone to join our marketing team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about SEO, web development/design, digital marketing, and working collaboratively with a content creation team to enhance our online presence.

As our specialist for SEO, web development, and Digital Marketing, you will play a crucial role in managing our technical SEO, Google My Business accounts, managing our website, and working closely with our content creation team to optimize content and make strategic recommendations. This position requires a proactive individual who is not just looking for a freelance gig but is eager to be a part of our amazing (and fun) marketing team and contribute to our firm's growth.

Key Responsibilities:
-Manage and optimize our Google My Business listings to improve local search visibility. We have several locations and want to keep them optimized and updated!
-Collaborate with the team to optimize blog posts, social media reels, articles, and web content for SEO.
-Conduct keyword research and analysis to guide content strategy and improve website ranking.
-Monitor SEO performance metrics and provide reports on progress and opportunities.
-Assist with website development, updates, maintenance, and other tasks as needed to enhance user experience and SEO.
-Make recommendations for digital marketing strategies and improvements.
-Be available for biweekly meetings during Arizona business hours (MST) times to ensure alignment with the team.

Qualifications:
-Proven experience in SEO and digital marketing, with a strong understanding of Google My Business, keyword research, and SEO best practices.
-Proven experience with website management and the ability to perform basic tasks related to website upkeep (we use WordPress)
-EXCELLENT communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a remote team using Slack as our internal communication tool, and Zoom for virtual meetings with the camera ON.
-Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret SEO data and make informed recommendations.
-Self-starting, with a strong work ethic and the ability to take initiative and work independently.
-Fluent in English, with excellent writing and editing skills.
-Fun personality. Our team is close-knit, creative, and enjoy working together. We want a VA who can match our energy and be enjoyable to work with (bonus points if you have a great sense of humor).
