Industrial Designer (Contract)

Job Description: We are seeking a talented Industrial Designer to join us on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have experience working remotely and be proficient in tools such as Slack and Zoom. They should also have a passion for creativity and innovation, as well as a solid understanding of CAD, preferably with experience in SolidWorks. Strong sketching skills are a must, along with a portfolio that demonstrates a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of form and function.

Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the design team to develop concepts and solutions for a variety of projects
• Create detailed 2D sketches and 3D CAD models
• Prototype and test designs to ensure functionality and aesthetics
• Work closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences
• Stay current with industry trends and technology

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design or related field
• Proficiency in CAD software, preferably SolidWorks
• Strong sketching and conceptualization skills
• Experience in consumer product design; medical and industrial experience a plus
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
• Experience working remotely using tools like Slack and Zoom
