We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Xero Certified Accountant to join our team on a full-time remote basis. Responsibilities
Maintain accurate financial records for our clients using Xero accounting software.
Prepare and analyze financial reports to provide valuable insights and support decision-making processes.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and deadlines, including filing tax returns and providing tax planning guidance.
Conduct regular reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, and other financial accounts.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their financial needs and provide personalized guidance and support.
Provide training and ongoing assistance to clients on utilizing Xero software effectively and optimizing their financial processes.
Experience
Xero certification and proficiency in using Xero accounting software is required.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably working with small businesses.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and tax regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping and reporting.
Proactive mindset with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and work independently.
Experience working remotely and managing a flexible schedule is preferred.
