JOB OVERVIEW

We are Goods Japan Limited, an energetic, small e-commerce company, that specializes in selling Japanese products to a worldwide consumer market. Our ambition is to grow to be the number one online retailer of Japanese products worldwide, and we invite you to be part of our team.
We are offering either a full-time position (8 hours per day) or part-time (4 hours per day), on a contract basis, for a Content Writer to work remotely for our company, this will entail the following:
• SEO-optimized product titles and descriptions,
• Blog entries,
• Social media posts (new products, articles related to our business, etc.),
• Participate in the Company’s marketing,
• Participate in Project Management,
• Miscellaneous content tasks,
• Miscellaneous office and clerical work,

Hiring process (please be prepared to undertake our three-step hiring process before applying):
1.) Online, multiple-choice aptitude test,
2.) Initial online interview, with a mandatory on-screen test for writing a sample product description that will be recorded,
3.) Final online job interview.

Requirements:
• Ensure you have a reliable computer and a stable internet connection.
• Degree in English literature, journalism, or equivalent qualification demonstrating English language proficiency, and ability to produce a large amount of written content,
• Minimum 1-year experience in writing English language content for public consumption (e.g., News articles, professional blogs, marketing content, etc.),
• Excellent English writing skills,
• Excellent general research skills,
•Strong preference given to candidates with an internet marketing background, with a good understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO).

• To create a high volume of original written content consistently (12 product descriptions and titles per 8-hour shift, or equivalent),

• Follow company directives and ensure all content complies strictly with company guidelines,
• Work unsupervised,
• Respond quickly to communications and meet all Company deadlines,
• As a teaUpgrade to see actual infomber of a small company, the work will be varied, so we expect you to be adaptable and undertake different kinds of work,
