Job Overview:
We're seeking a skilled Leasing Underwriter Virtual Assistant with experience in AppFolio to join our remote team. This
role offers the opportunity to contribute to our leasing operations from the comfort of your own home.
Responsibilities:
- Review and process leasing applications submitted through AppFolio.
- Verify applicant information, including credit history, income verification, and rental history.
- Analyze applicant qualifications to determine eligibility for lease approval.
- Assess financial risk and evaluate the creditworthiness of lease applicants.
- Utilize AppFolio tools and resources to conduct comprehensive underwriting assessments.
- Communicate with applicants regarding application status, lease terms, and required documentation.
- Collaborate with leasing agents and property managers to coordinate lease signings and move-in processes.
- Maintain accurate records of leasing applications, approvals, and denials in AppFolio.
- Generate leasing reports and metrics to track leasing activity and performance.
- Ensure compliance with leasing regulations and company policies.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Leasing Underwriter or similar role.
- Proficiency in AppFolio software for leasing management.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote environment.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
