Video Editor / Content Strategist

**Role Overview:**
We are seeking a creative, skilled, and dedicated Video Editor to join our team. This role requires producing one 5-10 minute long-form video each week, which must then be cleverly condensed into 3-6 compelling reels that align cohesively with the main video's content. Additionally, the Video Editor will be responsible for creating five short-form videos per week, specifically designed for platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts. These videos should be direct, forward-thinking, and crafted to capture the essence of our brand and the styles of creators we admire.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Edit and produce one 5-10 minute long-form video per week, ensuring content is engaging, high-quality, and aligns with our brand's voice and style.
- Create 3-6 short reels from each long-form video, ensuring these snippets are intentional, contextually relevant, and cohesive with the main content.
- Produce five short-form videos per week, filmed and edited with the specific format and audience of short-form platforms in mind.
- Provide constructive criticism and feedback within the team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Take ownership of your work, demonstrating initiative in editing styles, content topics, and creative direction.
- Collaborate closely with the content creation team to brainstorm ideas, themes, and innovative approaches to video production.
- Assist in developing and refining video styles and editing techniques to keep content fresh, engaging, and in line with current trends.

**Requirements:**
- Proven experience as a Video Editor with a portfolio showcasing long-form videos, reels, and short-form content.
- Proficient in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
- Ability to work independently and in a team, taking direction well and contributing ideas.
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to produce high-quality work to tight deadlines.
- A keen eye for detail and a strong sense of storytelling through visual media.
- Familiarity with the content and style of creators like WhistlinDiesel, Off The Ranch, Gary Vee, and Jake Paul is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to receive and provide constructive feedback.
