Key Responsibilities:
Patient Intake: Conduct initial assessments and intakes with empathy and sensitivity, gathering essential information about patients' mental health history and concerns.
Problem-Solving: Collaborate with our clinical team to identify patient needs and assist in developing individualized treatment plans, demonstrating a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
Billing: Manage billing processes, including insurance claims, invoices, and payments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
Scheduling: Coordinate patient appointments, optimize schedules for therapists, and communicate effectively with patients regarding appointment details and changes.
Documentation: Maintain organized and confidential patient records, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date.
Support: Offer administrative support to therapists and clinicians, helping to streamline their workflow and improve patient care.
Communication: Communicate clearly and professionally with patients, their families, and external stakeholders, fostering a positive and welcoming environment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or a related field preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with individuals in distress.
Problem-solving aptitude and the ability to think critically under pressure.
Proficiency in medical billing software and scheduling systems
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Knowledge of mental health terminology and ethical standards.
Maintains a high level of discretion and confidentiality.
