Senior Accountant

This is a 100% remote position for a US-based CPA firm
Responsibilities:
- A to Z accounting for our QBO clients who are multi-unit franchise bakery owners
- Revenue and stats data uploads from a proprietary platform
- Bank Feeds coding and reconciliations
- Credit Card coding and reconciliations
- Payroll coding in QuickBooks Online (QBO)
- Month-end accruals
- Intercompany allocations and reconciliations
- QBO and Fathom month-end reports

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and technical accounting principles
- Proficiency in financial report interpretation and analysis
- Intercompany allocations experience
- Ability to perform complex journal entries and general ledger reconciliation
- QuickBooks Online
- Strong Excel skills (will do pre-employment testing)
- Payroll processing and coding experience is a must
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial data analysis
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
- Multi-tasking = ability to handle multiple clients' requests and deadlines
- DId we say attention to detail? it is worth repeating, attention to detail is essential.

Experience
-Working for a CPA US-based company is a must
-Working knowledge of QBO (will be tested)
-Working knowledge of Fathom reports is a plus (writing/editing reports)
-Working knowledge of any accounting project-management tool (i.e., Canopy, FInancial Cents, Karbon) is a plus
