JOB OVERVIEW

Executive Mosaic is a dynamic online media company that reports major, breaking news in the U.S.
Government Contracting marketplace through three daily publications. We’re hiring motivated news
writers who can write, edit and publish across our websites and provide in-depth coverage of industry
activity. Our news team informs the public of the latest business, technological and political developments
emanating from Washington, D.C.

With our publications, customized daily intelligence briefings, active social media platforms and new
media avenues, our newsroom is always looking to enhance how we deliver content and grow our
audience. If you want to be immersed in a fast-paced news environment at the forefront of the GovCon
sector, please send a cover letter and resume. We’re looking to bring writers aboard immediately and will
be following up with qualified candidates.


Responsibilities and Duties
Successful candidates will write, edit and publish across our websites daily and provide in-depth coverage
of GovCon industry activity


Qualifications and Skills
Job requirements include:
• Bachelor’s degree in journalism or related field
• 2-3 years’ writing or editing experience with an online publication
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Excellent English language skills
• Experience working in AP Style is a must
• Great communication and interpersonal skills
• A desire to go beyond the call of duty to produce the best content possible
• Strong interest in current events and science and technology
• Familiarity with WordPress, SEO and Social Media is a plus
• Please provide three writing samples from your portfolio
• Three references required
