Industrial Product Engineer for Toys

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented Part-Time Industrial Engineer with a flair for Product Design, particularly in woodworking. Your expertise in Adobe Illustrator and 3D CAD will be crucial in bringing our innovative product ideas to life.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Designing new products primarily made of wood.
• Creating detailed illustrations and 3D models using Adobe Illustrator and CAD software.
• Collaborating with our production team to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability.
• Iterating on designs based on feedback and testing.
• Keeping abreast of the latest trends in product design and woodworking techniques.

Key Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and 3D CAD software.
• Prior experience in product design, preferably in woodworking.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and design challenges.

Your main KPIs will include:

• Number of product designs completed.
• Efficiency in design turnaround time.
• Quality and innovation in design as assessed by the team.
• Positive feedback from production on the manufacturability of designs.

This is a part-time position requiring 5-10 hours a week, with flexibility in working Upgrade to see actual infopensation will be discussed during the interview process. This is an hourly position, and we use Slack and ClickUp for communication and task management.
