About The Ad Firm:
The Ad Firm is a top Digital Marketing Agency headquartered in Southern California serving clients nationwide. We are seeking an SEO Content Writer to join our growing content team! The correct candidate should be working at a marketing agency right now. You should have at least two years of experience as a manager at an agency if you plan to apply for this position. This means you manage multiple projects at once.

This is a remote position for The Ad Firm. Workdays are from 8 am-5 pm PST, with the possibility of switching to 4 am-12 pm after the initial probationary period. We are a digital marketing agency that has been consistently growing our clients’ companies online since 2009. We have been awarded numerous times for our output work and the atmosphere of our team. We specialize in helping companies grow and tracking the success we bring to each of our clients.

Role Purpose:
Create/edit blog posts, service pages, product pages, press releases, blog topics, page titles and descriptions, and more for various industries. You will be working with our SEO managers and Client Success Managers for the intent of the pieces, needed keywords/information, and the tone and style of the client’s voice. The right fit will be able to easily switch between industries, client tones, and writing pieces with ease. Writing efficiently and in a timely manner is a must, as well as having perfect grammar and spelling in American English.

Qualifications Needed:
- 2-4 years of creating meaningful and engaging marketing content
- Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of writing skills for SEO content
- Creative and technical writing skills
- Exceptional editorial skills- You understand the importance of self-editing your work before delivering it to the team
- Familiar with SEO best practices
- Familiar with conversion best practices
- Excellent time management skills and project management skills
- Works equally well independently or as part of a team
- Welcomes feedback from team, supervisors, and clients
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field preferred

Responsibilities:
- Ability to interpret and apply creative briefs and messaging docs to copy (content projects vary and may include website copy, press releases, blog posts, flyers, headlines, ads, social posts, etc.)
- Create original and dynamic content that supports the client’s brand voice, overarching brand vision, and the audience it serves
- Research brand voice strategy to build client-facing pitch decks
- Review supporting research/data compilation and conduct further research when appropriate, including but not limited to market research for clients within evolving niches
- Proofreading and editing content for accuracy, sense, and flow
