Job Responsibilities:
• Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports.
• Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
• Understand and apply the U.S. tax code to ensure full compliance, particularly as it pertains to the solar industry.
• Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations to project future revenues and expenses.
• Continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations and financial processes.
• Recommend financial actions by analyzing accounting options.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Advanced degrees and certifications will be viewed favorably.
• A minimum of 4 years of accounting experience with a strong emphasis on the U.S. tax code.
• Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with financial and data analysis.
• Preferably with experience in the solar or renewable energy sector.
• Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal
• Has a fast computer and good internet connection
