Tutor

To excel in their role, as a tutor must be successful at engaging students’ interests to ensure they successfully learn and pass the Canadian HLLQP. They should also successfully monitor their students’ progress to ensure that their comprehension is conducive to a high pass rate. Duties and responsibilities the tutor holds:

• Ensure that all students are prepared prior to class
• Prompt start and finish times online
• Proficient in using the ZOOUpgrade to see actual infoeting platform
• Focusing students around the notes to illicit a high pass ratio
• Articulate basic concepts well
• Prepare the students by working on a practice exam and creating awareness around key words at the end of class
• Administer mock exams prior to taking the certification exams
• Overall, create an environment that is professional, positive and encouraging
