Back End Developer

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate design mockups and wireframes into visually appealing and responsive web pages.
- Manage important integrations with financial applications such as Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks as well as other applications.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, and JavaScript to implement engaging user interfaces and interactive elements.
- Utilize jQuery and other libraries as needed to enhance functionality and user experience.
- Ensure seamless integration with back-end systems and APIs.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure high-quality and bug-free deliverables.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and best practices in back-end development.
- Contribute to code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain code quality standards.

Requirements:

- Proven work experience as a back-end developer, demonstrating your ability to deliver high-quality web applications.
- Hands-on experience with markup languages such as HTML5 and CSS3.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, including frameworks such as jQuery.
- Solid understanding of SCSS and the ability to write modular and reusable CSS.
- In-depth knowledge of the entire web development process, from design and development to deployment.
- Strong understanding of layout aesthetics and the ability to create visually appealing user interfaces.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Experience with responsive design and mobile-first development.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
