Freelance Lead Software Developer - Automated Trading System

Overview:
We are a fast-growing startup trading firm seeking a skilled Freelance Lead Software Developer to develop an automated trading system focusing on US listed equity options. As the primary developer, you will play a pivotal role in automating this complex options trading strategy.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of the automated trading system in C#, ASP.NET and SQL
- Develop and optimize the required server, client and data pipeline components
- Ensure smooth data flow and communication between different components.
- Perform testing and debugging to ensure reliable performance.
- Collaborate with quants, traders and risk managers to integrate necessary functionality

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Lead Software Developer in the financial industry.
- Strong expertise in C#, ASP.NET, SQL (preferably MySQL) and Git.
- Proficiency in developing web-based applications using ASP.NET.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with options trading and investment portfolio risk management.
- Working knowledge of option pricing models.
- Familiarity with machine learning, Bayesian statistics, or AI models in capital markets.
- Experience backtesting trading strategies

Availability:
The position is available on either a full-time or part-time basis, depending on the candidate's availability and commitment level. Specifically, we are looking for a commitment of between 12 and 40 hours per week.
