During grade school and high school i have joined press conference wherein students who joined were categorize in order to construct a broadsheet newspaper. The last stage was my category which was copy reading and headline writing. This is where words were corrected if misspelled, sentence were constructed according to right grammar and syntax and paragraphs were arranged chronologically. I may not using these skills right now but I can say I got a bronze and gold medal for that. So with the proper symbols
or rules to use and follow, proofreading for me was still operative.
Regarding with researching, like what we did during our feasibility study, with the aid of internet and books in the library, we did extensive research so as to get the best facts and figures. In a simple way of researching for the assignments of my younger siblings, I do it not because I was instructed but because I wanted. I want to research for them because sometimes I get to know new information and get updated.
Now that I'm working as a bookkeeper, I do keep client records updated by computing their monthly payments and having them booked. I also do monthly remittances of agency contributions of various employees and compute withholding tax for the month.
