Profile Description

My first job as a virtual assistant, I categorize files that are coming in to our system. I quickly browse them and decide which file it belongs. After that, I start doing data entry of the file into our database and make a review notes then send it to our medical director for approval or denial of the authorization requested by the providers. This job lasts for about 2 years then I started working at home as Account Receivable Representative. This job entails multitasking. I started with answering phone as a receptionist then transfering the calls to the right department. I do data entry of the billing sheet of the providers into our Practice Management software for claims or bills submission to the insurance. I do follow up payment for this bill and review denial of payment and work it out. I also do credentialing of the providers to the insurance company to become in network.
