In 2009, a real estate investor named Tim Mai handed a rookie copywriter the keys to his entire product launch.

I wrote every sales letter, every email, every piece of marketing collateral for us and for the 25 affiliates who promoted it alongside us. When the dust settled, VirtualVesting Fortunes had generated over $1.2 million in revenue and 250,000+ new leads. It was one of the first major product launches in the US real estate investing education niche.

That was my introduction to what great direct response copy can actually do.

My name is Marvin Jay Torres, and I've been writing copy that sells for 18+ years.

I've worked across a wide range of industries: real estate investing, health & fitness, weight loss, digital marketing, e-commerce, music, home utilities, government, and more; producing everything from sales letters and VSL scripts to full email sequences, Amazon listings, landing pages, and ad campaigns for every stage of the funnel.

Most recently, I served as Lead Copywriter and Marketing Project Manager at a full-service digital marketing agency specializing in health supplements and pet care products, where I ran a creative team while continuing to write high-volume, high-quality copy and curating AI-generated content to ensure it met brand and conversion standards.
