Being in the customer service field for more than four years has helped me grow into who I am today, professionally speaking. I've worked as a staff nurse for one of the best tertiary hospitals here in the Philippines for more than three years and that alone had been an invaluable experience since it helped me gain knowledge and skills not only in the medical/health care field, but also in the customer service field since being a nurse means being service-oriented. But due to personal reasons, I had to shift careers and decided that I would rather be a call center agent. I've only been in the BPO industry for a year and a half but I've already worked for different clients and handled a variety of accounts, including Sirius XM satellite radio, Virgin Mobile USA and Sallie Mae.
