With my 22 years working as Training Specialist II to the Agricultural Training Institute under the Philippine Department of Agriculture and various exposures to training and training-related extension activities, I believe I can handle various writing jobs.
My work experience and college years prepare me for this kind of work.
While in college, I was a three-time editor-in-chief of our school paper and yearbook.
My work with the government, though, it mainly involves managing agriculture & agri-related training courses, but I am also into the preparation of training designs and proposals, minutes writing, and documentation of activities/events.
Most of the time, as a technical staff who is also assign to deliver topics, specifically on writing and speaking skills, I also prepare a lot of simple power point presentations.
I am also regularly asked to prepare letters and communications to outside clients, and write office memos/special orders as well.
Occasionally but on a regular basis, I also accept requests for jobs on proofreading and editing works from colleagues and friends.
This made me believe that I am capable to accept writing jobs.
