I was a national level contestant in our country for Panasonic Dep-Ed Thinknology On-the-Spot Idea Writing Contest during my 6th grade in elementary.
The main topic of the contest is to write an essay where you had to innovate the existing products of the company.
I didn't won the competition but this made me as the Writer of the Year when I graduated my primary education.
I was also contributing articles for feature and sports writing on our school paper.
During my secondary education, I still continue my writing skills but I was not able to enter contests for I get busy on my extra curricular activities such as attending youth and environmental summer camps.
However, I was tasked to do summary reports for those summer camps, either written or oral reports.
During my four years in my secondary education, I was fond of joining role-playing competition where I get the chance to hasten my writing skills.
I was the one who's doing the script and narration. This continues until my college years, I was always tasked to do narrations and scripts for our role playing acts.
In additional, I personally make stories to be portrayed in our school activities.
I became the president of our HRM Department where I get the chance to give reports to our Head of the Academic Affairs, solicitation papers to government officials and writing recommendation papers to our Dean for our department's annual celebration called 'Pasigarbo'.
Funny it is yet I was the one who's doing promissory notes and other subject requirements (Reports and Essays) for my schoolmates.
My recent experience was working as an intern with a French Executive Assistant Manager (Chen Sea Resort and Spa, Phu Quoc, Centara Boutique Collection, Phu Quoc Island, Vietnam) helping him out with some paper-works using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
My usual task is to edit Restaurant Menus (formatting and lay-outing), doing a simple layout for Specialty Menus for special occasions such as New Year's day and Valentine's Day, making an inventory for the restaurant total food and beverage consumption for a day, and how many guests had breakfast, lunch and dinner.
